Notes from Macomb County Animal Shelter and Animal Control
Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again… Just No More Kittens! My, my, how can you resist her? Meet Mama Mia, the leading lady of her own happily-ever-after story! This beautiful mama came to us after she and her six healthy babies were abandoned. Despite her difficult start, Mama Mia stepped up and took wonderful care of her little ones. Now that her babies are growing up, it’s finally time for this hardworking mama to take center stage! Mama Mia has officially retired from the kitten business. After raising a litter of SIX, she has hung up her maternity scrubs, closed the nursery, and declared that the baby-making tour is OVER! She has done her time with midnight feedings and tiny-paw chaos, and she’s ready to enjoy the finer things in life, like cozy naps, a loving home, and being someone’s baby for a change. No sequels, no surprise litters, and no more kittens for this girl! Mama Mia has been examined by our veterinarian, is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. She will be spayed as part of her adoption process and is currently in foster care with the intention of finding her forever home. Now, all she needs is someone willing to take a chance on her! Could you be the one to give Mama Mia the happily-ever-after she deserves? She has spent so much time caring for others, and now it’s her turn to be loved, cherished, and spoiled. Adopt Mama Mia, because here she goes again… straight into your heart! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $50
