Notes from Shelter to Home

Karol is an approximately 1.5 year old, short hair, dilute torti, female cat, who is ready for adoption. She just had a litter of kittens recently. She is a very sweet, friendly cat who likes to be around people, so she would be good with children and older adults. This young mama loves to play with toys together with her kittens. Karol is a curious kitty and explores new areas around the house. Also, after getting to know other cats, she does get along with them. She has not been around any dogs. She would benefit with the companionship of another cat in the household. Karol will make a good companion, so please consider meeting her and opening your heart to provide a forever home.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

What happens next

  1. Contact Shelter to Home using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Shelter to Home, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
