Notes from Shelter to Home

Date of Birth: July 9th, 2026 Karo is a 10 week-old, male, light brown, short hair tabby kitten who is ready for adoption. This little boy is very friendly & outgoing kitty with a cute personality. He is very smart & curious boy who enjoys exploring his surroundings. Karo also loves to play with his toy ball tower & chasing a toy string wand. He likes being around people looking for little belly rubs & being petted. Karo is very sweet & would be good with children. He would get along with other cats after getting to know them. He has not been around any dogs. Karo would benefit with another cat in the house for companionship. Please consider opening your heart and providing this special boy a forever home.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

What happens next

  1. Contact Shelter to Home using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Shelter to Home, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
