Notes from Shelter to Home

Phoenix 4.27.26 Facts About Me Breed: American shorthair Color: ticked fur in brown and black Age: 6 mths Sex: f My Info: Spayed Shots Up to Date House-trained Good with other cats Good with small dogs. Haven't been introduced to any larger dogs Good with kids Shy until I get to know you then I love to play and cuddle My Story: I was found with my litter mates in an alley in the pouring rain and was lucky to be brought to STH. Going from an outdoor kitty to a house kitty has been a big change for us! I'm a big fan of the cat tree, motorized cat toys and wand toys!! Although I love my foster mom I'm looking forward to my furever family. I really love playing with my foster mom's puppy! We play chase up and down the hall all the time! I haven't met any other dogs, but if they're nice like she is, I'm sure we'd be friends, too. I am a little timid around new people. But I love pets and treats! I'm laying in my bed being pet or w I'm in the mood to be picked up, my foster mom says my motor gets going! Maybe she can show you and you'll think so, too. I'm looking for a home that will be happy to give me time to settle in. If you have cat or dog friends for me to meet, that would be great, too! I can't wait to meet you. My fosters email is Rmack3475@gmail.com and she would be happy to tell you all about me.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

What happens next

  1. Contact Shelter to Home using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Shelter to Home, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
