Notes from Shelter to Home

Approximate birthday 3/20/24 Zoe is looking for a home were she can have a female companion or a solo cat. She is used to dogs but will avoid them. She'll prefer a home with an older couple or home with older children. She loves talking to you and getting petted, not a big fan of being picked up. She take a hug and kiss and want to be on her way.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

What happens next

  1. Contact Shelter to Home using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Shelter to Home, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
