Notes from Humane Society of Kent County Maryland Inc.

Starting October 6, all cats and kittens are FREE to adopt! Come find your new best friend today! Don't let the dramatic name fool you, Cloak of Doom is all love, curiosity, and kitten fun! Meet Cloak of Doom, a 9-month-old all-black kitten who is ready to bring anything but doom to his forever home! This sweet, playful boy is full of love and always looking for his next adventure. Cloak of Doom is a curious little explorer who wants to know what's happening at all times. The moment someone approaches his room, he's right there to greet them, eager to follow along and investigate. Whether he's chasing a toy, exploring a new corner, or seeing what exciting things might be waiting around the next turn, this boy is always ready for fun. His outgoing personality makes him a joy to be around. He loves attention, enjoys interactive play, and isn't shy about making new friends. If you're looking for a kitten who wants to be involved in everything you do, Cloak of Doom is happy to volunteer for the job! He does well with other cats and has been great with kids. Cloak of Doom is still pending his dog test, so his feelings about canine companions are currently unknown. If you're searching for a friendly, adventurous kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Cloak of Doom is ready to cast his spell on you! ✨Cloak of Doom's adoption fee is $75, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
