Notes from Petey and Furends

Name: Baba

Sex: Male

Estimated Age: 8 weeks old (as of 10/20)

Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby

Weight: About 3 pounds (as of 10/20)

Good With: People, and other cats and kittens!

Story: Baba was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. We are so happy to have him with us in a foster home now. Baba is a happy and sweet young kitten. He spends his days cuddling and playing with his foster family and chasing all the fun toys they have.

The fee to adopt Baba is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers the cost of his neuter, vaccines appropriate for his age, the collar he’s wearing, and his care in foster. Baba has been seen by a shelter vet (or other vet) and we are not aware of any health issues.

Please note that all kittens under the age of four months old must be adopted to a home with an already existing young cat, or be adopted as a pair (preferably with a sibling!).

Are you ready to give Baba the love and attention he deserves? If so, apply today!

  1. Contact Petey and Furends using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Petey and Furends, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
