Notes from Humane Society of Kent County Maryland Inc.
Starting October 6, all cats and kittens are FREE to adopt! Come find your new best friend today! Sweet, Shy, and Ready to Bloom by Your Side Meet Prune, a 5-month-old kitten with a gentle heart and a sweet personality. She may be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving nature shines through. Prune is ready to find a forever family who will give her the time, patience, and love she deserves. This adorable girl is the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and playmate. She enjoys cozying up for affection just as much as she enjoys chasing toys and exploring her surroundings. Watching her confidence grow is one of the many rewards of welcoming her into your home. Prune gets along well with kids, cats, and dogs, making her a wonderful addition to many different types of families. With her sweet spirit and kitten charm, she's sure to win over everyone she meets. If you're looking for a loving companion who will reward your kindness with purrs, cuddles, and friendship, Prune is ready to make your heart her forever home. Prune's adoption fee is $75, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
