Notes from Humane Society of Carroll County, Inc.

Meet this beautiful tortie queen! At 8 years old, this gorgeous girl has plenty of personality and a sassy side that makes her one of a kind! She’s looking for a forever family who will give her the time, patience, and understanding she needs to settle into a new home. New beginnings can take a little getting used to, so she’ll appreciate a family willing to let her adjust at her own pace. This lovely lady deserves a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and loved just the way she is. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
