Notes from A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue

Darling Daisy Sweet little Daisy was born in early July 2026 and is every bit as lovely as her name. She is an adorably curious girl who loves to be part of whatever is happening around her — even if that means sitting nearby and watching very intently while her foster cleans and does chores. Apparently, supervision is one of her many talents! Daisy is playful, affectionate, snuggly, and unbelievably soft — like cuddling a tiny little cloud. She has a wonderfully gentle, inquisitive personality and enjoys both playtime and being close to her people. She especially loves spending time with her brother, Gatsby, and the two would certainly be happy together. Daisy can also be adopted separately to a home with another friendly cat who can provide the feline companionship she enjoys. Daisy will soon be finished with her kitten medical care and is accepting adoption applications! She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, has received all age appropriate treatments and vaccines, including Rabies. She will be spayed and microchipped on 10/26/2026. *If an approved adopter would like to welcome this precious kitten home soon and is willing to take her to her scheduled spay appt. on 10/26/2026 - we're happy to make those arrangements! What happens next

  1. Contact A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
