Lottie
Domestic Short Hair · Young · Female · Medium · Chestertown, MD
Notes from Humane Society of Kent County Maryland Inc.
Starting October 6, all cats and kittens are FREE to adopt! Come find your new best friend today! Small black cat, big voice, even bigger heart. Lottie is ready to fill your home with purrs, playtime, and plenty of conversation. Meet Lottie, a bright and beautiful 1‑year‑old black DSH who came to us after her owner could no longer care for her. She’s a social little cat with a big personality — the kind who greets you with chirps, follows you around for attention, and has a whole lot to say about her day. If you enjoy a talkative companion, Lottie will happily keep the conversation going. Playtime is absolutely her favorite thing. She throws herself into toys with enthusiasm, chasing wand teasers, batting crinkle balls, and turning even the simplest object into entertainment. She’s young, curious, and full of energy, and she’d love a home that appreciates her playful spirit. Lottie has done well walking past other cats here at the shelter, showing polite interest without stress. In her previous home, she lived with children under 10 and handled the activity of a busy household with ease. She did not live with dogs previously, and would do best in a home with no dogs. With her sweet nature, chatty personality, and joyful love of play, Lottie is ready to bring warmth and fun into her next home. If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate young cat who will brighten your days, Lottie might be the perfect match. Lottie was sponsored by Jody Baker “ The Property Toller”! Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
