Notes from Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center

Do you like a cat who doesn't tire of human attention? Though her skittish nature might've fooled her foster parent for a wallflower, Blue Moon has truly blossomed as the celebrity of the household when given time to relax. Guests remark on her exceptionally pinchable cheeks. She also doesn't mind being gently picked up. She'll wait by the door and will melt like putty in your arms after you come back from a late nightBlue Moon is a quirky, chatty, playful cat. She loves her feather wand toy, and will proudly pull on it (like she's going for a walk) to the area she wants to play! And if you find yourself feeling lonely, Blue Moon makes an excellent conversation partner. She also loves her scratching posts, her heated mat, her puzzle toy, and is highly treat motivated. She is making good strides on reducing her love-bites. Since she was found with lots of other cats, she makes a good candidate for a cat roommate, though not one who's easily hostile... she's a lover, not a fighter! Potential adopters should note that she also still has to learn some kitchen counter manners. Not only will her future adopter help her come out of her shell, they will receive a truly special, endlessly affectionate lapcat in return. Will you be the one to take this lovebug to her forever home?
