Notes from Humane Society of Carroll County, Inc.
**In a foster home. To meet Luna email hsccfosterteam@gmail.comLuna is a beautiful 6-year-old white kitty with a gentle soul and a little bit of a shy side. She’s still learning that people can be trusted, so she may need some time and patience before she feels comfortable enough to show you her true personality. In her foster home, Luna has been making wonderful little steps forward. Give her some time to decompress, a few tasty treats (especially Churu!), and a little space to come out of her shell, and you’ll see just how sweet she can be. She’s even learning that stepping outside her comfort zone can be pretty rewarding when treats are involved! Once Luna feels safe, her playful personality begins to shine through. She may not be the kitty who runs up to greet you on day one, but she could be the one who slowly becomes your most rewarding friendship. Luna would do best as the only cat in her home, where she can have all the attention, patience, and quiet space she needs to truly blossom. She’s looking for a patient, understanding family willing to let her adjust at her own pace. Give Luna the time she needs to feel safe, and she’ll have the chance to show you the sweet, playful girl she’s been waiting to beAdoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
