Notes from Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center

James is one of the dozens of kitties we have cared for four-month Rabies Quarantines. These kitties arrive with injuries that our vet feels came from another animal. When this occurs, we must quarantine them for four-months, ensuring that whatever harmed them did not also pass on the Rabies Virus. When James first arrived, he was scared and shut down. Over his four-months with us, he has become a head butting love bug! He is best suited for a quiet, adult only home. We are sure he will become a loving lap cat once he has settled in. He tolerated other kitties but is not a fan. OTHER PETS: Likely (With proper introduction): He would be best suited as your only kitty. No pups please. OWNER EXPERIENCE: James is best suited for an adopter who has kitty experience. KIDS: James is best suited for an adult-only home. ACTIVITY LEVEL: James is a professional couch potato. VETERINARY CARE: James is looking forward to meeting his new vet and receiving on-going vet care. LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: James will need his adopter to be patient as he settles into his new home. GROOMING: James takes very good care of his handsome grey coat.
