A sweet fourteen-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Townsend, WA, whose essence is a gentle spark of love wrapped in a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell coat. She may be a senior, but she still plays with the enthusiasm of a much younger kitty, happily chasing laser pointers and wand toys before flopping onto the floor for the cutest rolling celebration! One of her most charming quirks is the way she twirls her head while tracking a wand toy, making every play session feel like a delightful performance. Once Muffin trusts someone, she transforms into the ultimate velcro cat, happiest curled in a warm lap while soaking up endless pets, affection, and quiet companionship.

Muffin takes her time building confidence, and that journey is worth every patient moment. Loud noises, vacuum cleaners, and trips to the veterinarian can be frightening for her, and her anxiety sometimes leads to fear-based potty accidents during especially stressful situations. With understanding, consistency, and a calm routine, she blossoms into an incredibly loving companion who simply wants to feel safe. She would thrive in a peaceful home without other pets or children, where an experienced cat parent can let her settle in at her own pace. Trust may take weeks or even months, but when it arrives, Muffin offers unwavering devotion and companionship.

She has had two front teeth removed because of tooth resorption, so she enjoys wet food, although she can still eat dry food if needed. She also experiences the occasional hairball, but otherwise she is healthy, playful, spayed, and eager to enjoy every cozy day with her favorite person. Her joyful spirit shines brightest during interactive playtime, followed by long cuddle sessions where she reminds everyone that the quietest moments often become the most meaningful.
