Notes from Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue

Hi, I’m Roni. I’m a 5-year-old tuxedo lady with big curious eyes and a gentle heart. Life changed unexpectedly when my previous owner could no longer care for me, but I’m hoping my next chapter is just around the corner. I can be a little shy when we first meet—new places and new people can be a lot for a girl to take in. But if you give me a little patience, I’ll show you my sweet side. Once I feel comfortable, I absolutely welcome love, pets, and all the gentle attention you have to offer. I get along well with other cats and would be happy to share my home with a feline friend. Dogs aren’t really my thing, and I’d do best in a home with older children who understand that sometimes I need a little time to settle in. What I’m looking for most is a family that will let me be myself—a quiet, loving home where I can blossom at my own pace and become your loyal companion. Could you be the one to give me the fresh start I’ve been waiting for?

If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.

Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.

As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

What happens next

  1. Contact Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
