Notes from Scott County Humane Society

Tigger is a handsome tabby who is still figuring out this whole new-life thing. He is timid and may hide when he first meets you, but once he learns to trust, he enjoys attention and affection. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, Tigger's calm and loving personality will shine through.

Estimated DOB: 8/4/25

What happens next

  1. Contact Scott County Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Scott County Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
