Notes from Golden Belt Humane Society

Well hi there! My name is Otis and I would love to tell you about myself. I am a two year old boy who is looking for his forever home. I came to the shelter after I was abandoned out in the county and was brought in. I am fully vetted, including my neuter and I am declawed in the front. I am a very very sweet boy that would do amazing in a home where I get all the loves. Ideally my forever home would not include other kitties or dogs-not having claws means I can’t defend myself! I am a big boy, I weigh about 10lbs and have SO much love to give anyone and everyone. My shelter friends say the best way to get my attention is to just talk to me and I will be right there, front and center! If you think I would be a good addition to your home, adopt me today!

What happens next

  1. Contact Golden Belt Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Golden Belt Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
