Notes from Golden Belt Humane Society

Well hi, my name is Gidget. I can be a little bit timid sometimes so bear with me. I am about 3 years old-I was originally adopted from the humane society as a kitten but then my family had some unexpected medical issues and I had to come back. It’s not that I don’t like my shelter friends but I liked my home/couch more. I am a big girl(about 15lbs BUT that just means there is more of me to cuddle)-I am not one to miss a meal. I am fully vetted including my spay and am ready to get the heck out of here. I would do best in a home where I am the only kitty, we can’t have multiples bosses of house. Dogs can be scary to me but I would most likely adjust to dogs as long as they aren’t rough with me. I know I am an adult and you were probably looking for a kitten-but I am a good girl I promise! Give me a chance to go home, I will be the best freeloading roommate you have ever had!

What happens next

  1. Contact Golden Belt Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Golden Belt Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
