Notes from Midwest Pet Refuge

Dusty was found as a tiny baby in a bin at the Portland Forge. She was filthy and grey instead of white, hence her name. She was bottle fed by a foster and is now back at the rescue and ready for her forever home. She's a sweet and pretty girl.

What happens next

  1. Contact Midwest Pet Refuge using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Midwest Pet Refuge, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
