Notes from DeKalb Humane Society, Inc.

This is Hall.

You may remember his associate, And Oates.

Yes.

We did it.

And we are not apologizing.

Hall is 12 weeks old and currently in intake quarantine, where he and And Oates are presumably negotiating royalties.

Hall has been informed that people may approach his kennel and immediately say, "Where's Oates?"

He would like everyone to understand that he is a complete kitten in his own right.

Still, adopting Hall without at least considering And Oates feels like breaking up the band before the first album drops.

What happens next

  1. Contact DeKalb Humane Society, Inc. using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to DeKalb Humane Society, Inc., never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
