Notes from DeKalb Humane Society, Inc.
Meet Rock.
She is one year and three months old and currently in the adult cat condos.
Rock.
That's it.
No honorific.
No whimsical surname.
No complicated backstory.
Rock.
Someone had the entire English language available to them and selected a geological material.
We respect the efficiency.
If adopted, he can easily be incorporated into common household phrases:
"Have you fed Rock?"
"Rock is on the couch."
"Why is Rock in the bathtub?"
"Please stop letting Rock lick that."
Having a pet named Rock also gives you the rare opportunity to truthfully tell people:
I have a pet Rock.
This alone feels worth an application.
