Notes from Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County

Hi there. I'm Caramel Apple and I am 9 months old. I am a shy, tender hearted boy who prefers to start my journey as an uncover agent: usually tucked into a cozy, cardboard box or under a soft blanket. Once I feel safe though, my sweet personality starts to emerge, and I am soooo affectionate! I have the softest fur and the cutest purr! Once I trust you, I will love and love and love and love all over you and seek out affection; it just takes me some time to get comfortable. If you are looking for a cat who will run to the door and demand belly rubs immediately, I am not the right fit for you. But if you know that the best kind of love is the kind you earn, I am waiting for you. I would do best in a quiet, predictable home who will let me decompress when I first come home and when new visitors enter my space. I am a gentle soul that hopes to find a home that will be patient with my slow burn love and affection. Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
