Notes from It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

Currently located at our Evansville, IN location Meet Ginger – The Sweetheart Who Will Steal Your Heart (and Your Dinner)! Ginger is a beautiful orange-and-white girl, around 2–3 years old, who is ready to find the loving forever home she deserves! She wandered up to a family on the west side of Evansville earlier this summer, malnourished and pregnant. Thankfully, they brought her inside, where she quickly embraced the comforts of home. These days, you can find her napping on the back of the couch, staying close to her favorite people, and happily accepting just about any food offered her way! Ginger is a kind, gentle girl who loves adults and does well with children ages 5–10. She uses her litter box without issue and has been a wonderful mama to her kittens. She enjoys being near her people and isn't shy about sharing her opinions, especially when dinner is running late! Her unique little meow is just one more thing to love about her. Ginger's current home has two resident cats who haven't accepted her, so she's looking for a new family where she can settle in and feel safe. She has so much love to give and is ready to trade her difficult start for a life full of cozy naps, full meals, and endless affection. If you're looking for a sweet companion who will steal your heart, your food, and your favorite spot on the couch, Ginger may be your girl!
