Notes from Midwest Pet Refuge

Freedom’s story started at Freedom Park, where a terrified little kitten was spotted hiding high up in a tree. He was skinny, hungry, and doing his best to survive on his own until one of our volunteers rushed out to rescue him. With an estimated birthday of July 4th, he really is our little Independence Day miracle. Now that he knows he’s safe, Freedom has completely transformed. He loves pets — truly loves them — and will march right over to demand attention with all the confidence he didn’t have at first. He’s playful, curious, and full of kitten energy, always ready to chase a toy or explore whatever new thing catches his eye. Freedom has learned that people are wonderful, hands are for petting, and life is a lot more fun when you’re not stuck in a tree. He’s ready for a home that enjoys an affectionate, interactive kitten who wants to be part of everything. Adoption fee: $75 Apply today at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt Adoption includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccine(s), rabies vaccine, flea prevention, and deworming medication.
