Notes from Midwest Pet Refuge

Hedy Lamarr is a sweet, cuddly little starlet who got her dramatic start in life under the back steps of a house, where she was found alone and in desperate need of help. One of our amazing volunteers stepped in right away, bottle‑feeding her around the clock and giving her the warmth, safety, and love she had been missing. Now that she’s thriving, Hedy has fully embraced her inner glamour queen. She’s a little piggy with her meals — the kind who will demand more even when her bowl is full, meowing loudly the moment she senses food is anywhere within a five‑mile radius. Her tiny voice has big opinions, especially about snacks. Despite her dramatic flair, she’s all softness: cuddly, affectionate, and happiest when curled up in warm arms. She adores people, loves being doted on, and has perfected the art of melting hearts with one look. If you’re ready for a kitten who is equal parts snugglebug and comedic food‑obsessed gremlin, Hedy Lamarr is your girl.
