Notes from Midwest Pet Refuge
Starburst might look like she’s judging you, but don’t let that grumpy little face fool you — she’s a genuinely sweet, social girl who loves people and gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids. She came to us as a tiny kitten with her mom and siblings, and the rescue is the only life she’s ever known. After being with us since 2024, she’s more than ready to learn what it feels like to have a real home of her own. Spayed, healthy, and full of quiet charm, Starburst is looking for a family who will finally be hers. Adoption fee: $75 Apply today at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt Adoption includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccine(s), rabies vaccine, flea prevention, and deworming medication. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. What happens next
- Contact Midwest Pet Refuge using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Midwest Pet Refuge, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
