Notes from Midwest Pet Refuge
Yahtzee has been with us since 2023 and is the last of his litter still waiting for a home. He might look like a ferocious little beast, but don’t let the tough‑guy exterior fool you — he’s actually a total snuggle baby. Yahtzee loves pets, belly rubs, and will happily let you hold him like a baby. He was originally trapped as a feral stray, but he’s worked hard to learn that people are safe, and he’s become incredibly sweet. He gets along well with other cats and nice dogs. Yahtzee is neutered and ready for his forever home. Adopt your very own “ferocious” beast today! Adoption fee: $75 Apply today at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt Adoption includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccine(s), rabies vaccine, flea prevention, and deworming medication. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Completing a questionnaire on any other website does not submit an application to our rescue, you must complete one on our website. If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@MidwestPetRefuge.com

What happens next
- Contact Midwest Pet Refuge using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Midwest Pet Refuge, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
