Notes from Forever Fortunate Felines
Cinnezac - or Cinnie - is the smart one in the pack. From the day she was abandonned, sick and filthy, in Southern Illinois to her leisure days at the foster home, Cinnie was able to make sure that she and her brother Oatmeal would have a better life. Cinnie is the first of her crew (brother and 4 others) to figure things out. New toys, new food bowls, new people. And she's the smart one to alert her foster mom that bowls need to be filled, toys need to be retrieved, or litter needs to be cleaned. She will lead her foster mom to the situation she wants addressed. She's the Lassie of her crew. She cuddles on her own terms - with humans or animals - but she is a social cuddler. She will join you on the sofa for tv, for work, or for sleep. Usually, she is willing to be part of the cat nap pile, but she also sees a pile as tine that she can get her foster mom to herself, especially for head and back scritches. She gets along well with other cats, young and old, sometimes cuddling with the resident senior. She has been good playing with young children, but she isn't as willing to be cradled as her mates so might be better with older children. Cinnie has not been tested with dogs but has been a curious watcher from the window. As she isn't a fearful cat, she would, most likely, do fine in a hone with dogs. While the most independent of her crew, Cinnie is a young cat and needs a playful mate, especially for hide, seek, and pounce.
