Notes from Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL)

Shake and Bake is a 5-year-old grey tabby with white who is serving up sweetness, playfulness, and plenty of purrs! This friendly girl absolutely loves attention—and one of her favorite things is placing her paw right into your hand.

She’s wonderfully easy to handle and has a gentle, affectionate personality. Shake and Bake loves being part of the action, but she also understands that her people may not want a furry shadow underfoot every minute of the day. She’s happy to soak up attention when it’s offered and entertain herself when it’s not.

Sweet, playful, easygoing, and oh-so-loving, Shake and Bake is wrapped up in the purrfect kitty package! If you’re looking for a friendly feline who will happily reach out and take your hand and your heart—she may be your girl!

Shake & Bake is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Shake & Bake's adoption fee is $ 135. If you are interested in meeting Shake & Bake, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL) using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL), never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
