Notes from Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL)

Wembley is a lovable boy who lost his home no fault of his own. His previous owners decided to give him up because they had a new baby and were moving. He is a sweet and gentle boy who is looking for someone to love him - forever this time!

At 3 years old, Wembley is the perfect mix of calm and playful . Have fun toys? He’ll gladly pounce on a mouse or chase a feather wand. He can be a bit of a ham. But he also likes downtime and will be happy to curl up in a sunny spot while you give him lots of pets and attention.

Wembley has experienced a lot of change recently, including losing the only home he has ever known. He can become startled by loud noises or an environment that is very chaotic. While he warms up quickly, the best home for him would be one where his new owners allow him to settle in at his own pace. You will be rewarded with an affectionate companion!

Wembley is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.

Wembley's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Wembley, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL) using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL), never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
