Notes from Starfish Animal Rescue

If you work from home, Tux may just be your perfect coworker. She loves being near her people, although she doesn't necessarily need to be in your lap. She's perfectly content sitting beside you or hanging out at your desk, carefully supervising everything you do. Someone has to make sure you're getting your work done!

Tux can be a timid girl at first and likes to put on a tough, independent act—as if she couldn't possibly care whether you give her attention. But don't let her fool you! Bring out a toy and her personality comes shining through. She loves to play, and watching her come out of her shell is part of what makes her so special.

And underneath that independent exterior is a serious little lovebug. Once Tux feels safe and comfortable enough to settle into your lap, you'll discover her secret: this girl can PURR! Get her cozy and that little motor will run like there's no tomorrow.
