Dumpling Squash
Chartreux / Mixed · Young · Female · Small · Mundelein, IL
Notes from REACH Rescue, Inc
Dumpling Squash is a girl with a big personality and a little bit of a tough-girl attitude! Originally coming to us as a stray with her baby, this independent lady knows what she likes and isn't afraid to let you know. But underneath that sassy exterior is a loving, affectionate girl who enjoys attention and has plenty to say! Dumpling Squash is litter box trained and quite the talker, so don't be surprised if she strikes up a conversation with you throughout the day. She enjoys playing with cat toys, scratching on cardboard scratchers, and even going for walks! She's got her own special personality and will keep you entertained with her antics. Dumpling can do well with older children, but she'll need time to adjust and feel comfortable around them. She may also be able to share her home with another cat, but she's definitely selective about her feline friends! She can be a little bossy with cats she doesn't care for, so any kitty housemate will need to be a good match. It's important that she have her own safe, quiet space to retreat to when she needs some alone time, separate from the other cat. Dumpling Squash would do best in a calmer home where she can settle in at her own pace, enjoy her independence, and receive plenty of love and attention when she's ready. She's a girl who appreciates having her boundaries respected, and in return, she'll reward her people with affection, conversations, and lots of personality! If you're looking for a unique, loving, talkative companion with a little sass and a whole lot of charm, Dumpling Squash might just be your girl!
