Notes from Animal Education and Rescue

Zipper thinks he’s a dog, but his foster family keeps reminding him that he is a cat. So he tells the other cats in the household that he is a dog-cat. His foster dad keeps reminding him he is a cat, however Zipper respectfully disagrees. It is possible in a different lifetime Zipper was a dog because he definitely feels like a dog. But in reality, his foster family just thinks he’s silly. This extremely friendly kitten is available for adoption. He’s a gorgeous ginger color and loves sunning himself in front of the window._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Zipper is $ 125.00WANT TO MEET ZipperThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Education and Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Education and Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
