Notes from Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL)

Meet this petite sweetheart who is looking for a new family to love.

Almost 7 years old, she is sweet, affectionate, and loves attention. She’ll even seek you out for affection with the sweetest little head bumps — her way of saying, “Hey, I’m here. Love me!”

She came from a loving home, so she knows what it means to be cherished and cared for. Now she’s hoping to find a new family who will give her the same love and security. She has always lived with Bubs (Bubbles) who is also up for adoption and on Arf’s site. Although they get along nicely, they do not need to be adopted together. But if your home is ready for two adult cats, handsome Bubs would be a great addition.

This little lady may be petite, but she has plenty of love to give. Could she be your new best friend?

Soap is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and litter box trained.

Soap's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL) using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF-IL), never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
