Notes from Animal Education and Rescue

With her beautiful tuxedo markings, Rosa is ready for her "I'm adopted" photo with her new family. Rosa was surrendered when her owner was no longer able to keep her. At almost 2 years, she is friendly, calm and gentle. While human females torture themselves with hair removal products, Rosa is proud of her beautiful mustache. She is a little purr machine and a great conversationalist and has the softest fur you have ever touched. If you have been searching for an all-around great cat, STOP. You've found her in Rosa. Rosa was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and to keep it under control she just takes a 1/2 pill 3 times a week...no biggie, she is totally worth the effort._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Rosa is $ 195.00WANT TO MEET RosaThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Education and Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Education and Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
