Notes from Ames Animal Services
Staff would describe my personality as: Very shy and unsure of peopleWith other cats I am: UnknownWith dogs I am: UnknownWith children I am: UnknownI have the following special needs:I was found outside as a stray. Since I have come to the Ames Animal Shelter I am really trying to trust humans and overcome my fear. I would need a very calm, patient home to be adopt in. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
