Braizin
Domestic Short Hair (short coat) · Adult (4 years) · Male · Medium · Cedar Rapids, IA
Notes from Last Hope Animal Rescue
Braizin was the sole survivor in a litter of kittens found outside, the other kittens appear to have been attacked by a wild animal. Braizin has a small but permanent fold on his ear, we consider it his badge of bravery! Braizin went on to have a viral infection as a kitten that required intensive treatment requiring daily meds. He took this all in stride and was easy and cooperative to provide medication to. Braizin is now a healthy and happy cat, with quite the journey under his belt he seems to be much older and wiser than your average tabby!
He would prefer to be the only kitty in your home but could do well with another very laid back cat. He hasn’t been around too many dogs and still gets a little puffed up and scared. You can often find Braizin up in high spaces watching over everything around him so a window and a very tall cat tree is a must. He will accept pets on his own terms and will give you a little nibble to let you know when he wants space. That being said he would do best in a home without any young children as he can be a little bitey when overstimulated. Braizin is looking for an experienced pet owner that will appreciate all of his quirks and give him the space and time needed to settle into a new home.
Braizin's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered and current on vaccinations. Our adoption process includes a background check, home visit, and a vet history check. If you would like to meet Braizin, please submit an adoption applicaiton on our website, Adopthope.org.
