Notes from CatRangers

Helen may be tiny, but this little girl has a huge heart and an incredible zest for life.

Helen was born congenitally blind, although you would never know it by looking into her beautiful little green eyes. She is remarkably attuned to the world around her. She can detect the slightest movement—even a gentle breeze—and sometimes she turns her head toward you so perfectly that you’d swear she was looking right at you.

She also has a very mild case of wobbly cat syndrome. When she takes off running at full speed, her little feet may occasionally slip out from underneath her, especially on a smooth floor. But Helen doesn't let a little wobble slow her down! She quickly regains her footing and continues on her way, chasing whatever she has heard or felt.

Her blindness has very little impact on her day-to-day life. Helen confidently uses her litter box, eats independently, and navigates her world with determination and curiosity. She is a happy, playful little cat who has figured out how to make the most of every moment.

Helen absolutely adores other cats. She loves trying to play with them and snuggling up beside them every chance she gets. Because of this, we think she would be especially happy in a home with a friendly feline companion—perhaps another kitten her age or even a slightly older cat who could become her big brother or sister and help show her the ropes.

She may experience the world differently than other cats, but she doesn't seem to know that she's supposed to be limited by it. She is curious, affectionate, playful, resilient, and full of love.

Helen is looking for a special forever family who will appreciate her exactly as she is—and who will let this tiny, brave girl fill their home with her enormous personality.
