Notes from Carroll County Animal Shelter

Hi! My name is Reims, and I'm a 4 month old girl kitty! I have a mostly black fur coat, but you can tell me apart from my brother Gothic because I have a white toe on one of my back feet. My eyes are also a bit more brown than his. I'm sharing a cage with him and with my mom, Renaissance. I am kinda shy and might hide behind my mom when you first open the cage. I am still getting used to the idea of people coming to visit, but I know everyone is well-meaning, so if you go slowly and are patient with me, I am okay with being pet. I also like toys, so if you bring some toys for me to play with, that might help a lot! I have heard about furever families, and they do sound very nice, so hopefully my furever family will find me soon!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
