Notes from Street Paws
"Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a family with placing their pet.
Hi there I'm Colt and I'd love the chance to sit on your lap and watch the squirrels playing outside. My first owner died very recently after he and I had shared 6 amazing years together so I have been with my present owner who needs to re-home me. She'd be keeping me if she could. I'm a lovable kitty and I would like to join your household. My fur is soft like velvet and I have gorgeous eyes that are quite mesmerizing! Come on by and see for yourself...I'm really looking forward to meeting you.
Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.

What happens next
- Contact Street Paws using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Street Paws, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
