Notes from CatRangers

Raine is a beautiful little kitten who is learning that the world can be a safe place. From the very beginning, she has been one of our more cautious kittens, and while she still gets nervous around sudden noises and new situations, she continues to make small steps forward every day.

This sweet girl isn't aggressive in any way. In fact, when she feels comfortable, you'll often find her snuggled up with her kitten friends in a cozy cuddle puddle on the bed. While she's not quite ready to curl up in a lap, she enjoys being near those she trusts and finds comfort in the company of other cats.

Raine will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She may always be a little shy, but with a quiet home, gentle encouragement, and plenty of love, she has the potential to continue blossoming at her own pace.

If you have a soft spot for the underdogs and find joy in earning the trust of a sensitive soul, Raine may be the perfect companion for you.

What happens next

  1. Contact CatRangers using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to CatRangers, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
