Notes from Safe Pet Project Inc

Meet Copper — The Boy With a Big Heart

Copper is a 4‑month‑old orange tabby rescued from a condemned home where he lived with 30 other cats. He’s still learning what it means to have a safe, loving place — but orange tabbies are known for their affectionate nature, and Copper will be no exception once he’s given the chance.

He’s smart, curious, and ready to pack his little bags if it means finding a home where someone will show him the ropes and help him become the best kitty he can be.

What happens next

  1. Contact Safe Pet Project Inc using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Safe Pet Project Inc, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
