Notes from Street Paws
This cat is located at The Humane Society and SPCA of Clayton County Inc. They are a subsidiary of Street Paws.
Antonio is a quiet, tender soul who carries a lot of caution in his heart. He’s very shy and slow to trust humans, preferring to keep a comfortable distance while he observes the world around him. What he needs most is someone patient—someone who understands that not every cat shows love through cuddles or constant affection. With time, gentle consistency, and a calm environment, Antonio begins to reveal small pieces of his personality: soft glances, careful steps closer, and moments where he lets his guard down just enough to show he feels safe. He may never be the snuggliest cat, but he is deeply deserving of a home that appreciates him exactly as he is and celebrates every bit of progress he makes.
" Antonio's approximate birth date is 5/19/19. He has been neutered and fully vetted. Antonio was taken from a horrible situation, where animals were being hoarded and illegally bred. He has settled nicely into shelter life, doing well with his many of cat friends at the shelter. He is friendly, playful, and quite mischievous. If you like a little "catitude", Antonio is the perfect cat for you!
Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances.
To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family.
As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society.
The adoption fee for all cats is $125. Each cat receives:
Age-appropriate vaccinations
Spay or neuter surgery
FeLV/FIV testing
Deworming
Flea prevention
A microchip registered to the adopter
You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet. For additional information, please email info@streetpaws.org.
