Smooch — The Last Girl Waiting for Her Forever Home

Smooch has been through more than most cats ever will. She’s the last of the kittens rescued from the house fire, and she’s been in foster care with Ms. R for quite some time now — patiently waiting for her turn to find a forever family.

She’s a shy girl around strangers, and that might be part of why she’s still waiting. But shy doesn’t mean unloving. Smooch adores Ms. R — she just hasn’t had many chances to meet new people. Once she warms up, she’s affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. If you know cats, you know exactly what that means — she’s a True Cat Personality through and through.

Smooch would love a quieter home where she can finally have her own person to love — and not have to share them with quite so many roommates.

She’s 9 months old, UTD on vaccinations, and spayed — ready to pack her bags and head home the moment you say yes.

What happens next

  1. Contact Safe Pet Project Inc using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Safe Pet Project Inc, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
