Notes from Ayla's Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue
Meet Brie! Brie is a beautiful little brown tabby girl who is learning that life as a pampered house cat isn’t so bad after all! Brie and her brother Cheddar were born to a feral mother in the Lincolnville area of St. Augustine and were first spotted in early July. Thankfully, a kindhearted person began feeding them and looking out for them, giving these two little ones a chance at a brighter future. Brie has since been spayed and is now settling into life in a loving foster home. Her wonderful foster family is working on her socialization skills, helping her build confidence and learn that humans can be pretty great! Since Brie didn’t grow up surrounded by human affection, she’s still learning to trust and feel comfortable in her new surroundings. She’ll need a patient, understanding family willing to give her the time, space, and encouragement she needs to continue coming out of her shell. With a little patience, plenty of love, and some tasty treats, we’re hopeful this sweet girl will continue blossoming into a confident and happy kitty. After all, good things take time, and we think Brie will be well worth the wait! All Ayla’s Acres cats must be indoor-only, and declawing is never permitted. A home visit is required prior to adoption, and an adoption fee applies. All kittens must be adopted as a pair or into a home with another friendly cat. If you’re interested in adopting this pretty girl, please visit AylasAcres.org and submit an adoption application.
