Notes from Sheltering Hands, Inc

Hi, I'm Artichoke,

Losing my person and everything familiar was a lot for a senior girl like me. There was no plan for me or my two kitty friends so a relative was regularly coming in to feed us for a while. Because I would hide, they thought I wasn't very affectionate.

Once the folks at the shelter got to know me, they discovered the real me. I'm actually one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet! I love being petted, loved on, and fussed over. The more attention I get, the happier I am. I'll gladly settle in beside you and soak up every bit of affection you have to offer.

These days, my dream is simple: a cozy home, a comfy couch, and a person to share it with. I'm a gentle senior lady with plenty of love left to give, and I think I'd make the perfect couch potato companion for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate friend.
