JESSE

WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Jesse, a handsome 2-year-old orange tabby who is hoping to find a family that will give him the forever home he deserves. Sadly, his former family surrendered him because they said they no longer had room for him. Now Jesse is facing another big change, and he's understandably been shy since arriving at the shelter. With so many unfamiliar sights, sounds, and smells, it's no wonder he needs a little time to feel comfortable again. Jesse is a sweet, independent boy who enjoys having some time to himself but also has a loving side to share with those he trusts. He's quite the conversationalist and may happily chat with you about his day! He enjoys his naps, but when he's ready for fun, he likes electronic cat balls, feather toys, and string toys. He'll even use a scratching post from time to time. His former family reported that Jesse was good with adults and older children. He's never lived with dogs and can be shy around other cats, so his ideal home would give him time to adjust at his own pace and plenty of safe, quiet places to relax. Jesse may not be the first cat to rush up and greet you, but sometimes the most rewarding friendships are the ones that grow slowly. With patience, understanding, and a family willing to let him blossom in his own time, Jesse has the chance to feel safe and loved again. Could you be the person who gives this sweet orange boy the forever home he's been waiting for?
