Shrek is FIV-positive, which means he'll need to be the only cat in your home or share it with other FIV-positive cats. FIV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs, and it is primarily spread between cats through deep bite wounds. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy lives with proper care and regular veterinary checkups. Shrek may not have a fairy-tale castle, but he doesn't need one!
