Notes from Humane Society of Broward County

WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Kate, an adorable brown tabby who is just 6 months old and ready to find a family to call her own! Sadly, her former family had too many pets and couldn't keep her. Now this sweet young girl is hoping her next home will be her forever home. Kate is an indoor kitty with a calm, gentle personality. She can be a little shy at first and needs some time to feel comfortable with new people, but once she warms up, she enjoys affection and gentle head rubs. She's also a little chatty at times, so you may hear her sweet voice when she's ready to interact. When she's not enjoying attention, Kate is happy to spend part of her day curled up for a cozy catnap. And if you want to win her heart, a little boiled chicken might just do the trick! Her former family reported that Kate is good with adults, children, and other cats. She's never been around dogs, so we don't know how she would feel about canine companions. Kate is still a kitten with a lifetime of love and companionship ahead of her. All she needs is a family willing to give her a little time to settle in and show her just how wonderful life can be. Could you be the one to give this sweet little tiger the happy ending she deserves?
